Alviss Consulting produces research on all Australian energy markets.

Research areas include network and retail tariff analysis, assessing the cost impacts of policy initiatives and regulation, and distributed energy resources. Research pertaining to energy affordability more broadly includes energy concessions and their relative value, the prevalence of energy disconnections, and comparative studies evaluating the impact of different regulatory and policy settings.

Alviss Consulting produces the annual Residential Tariff-Tracking Project (with St Vincent de Paul Society) and the SME Tariff-Tracking Project (with Energy Consumers Australia). These projects analyse changes to retail market offerings and energy prices.
